This is a very rare opportunity to own a watch that is presented exactly how it left the factory fifty years ago. This 1960's stainless steel Vulcain chronograph came from the watch archive of a deceased watch maker who had a store in 1970's. This is one of two watches acquired from the collection. The watch has every element that it would have been originally sold with; Original band and buckle, guarantee papers, hang tags and the original foiled price tag of $85.50, all fitted in the original box! The watch has a stunning and strong blue dial with silvered sub dials, wide hour markers and hands, plus a great contrasting red center sweep hand. The watch is powered by an excellent calibre 236 movement, made by the Swiss company, Valjoux. This movement has been used in a number of classic vintage watches from brands such as Heuer, Longines and Matthey Tissot. The case measures 37mm x 43.5mm and is totally untouched and unpolished, presented in New Old Stock condition.
