If you're into vintage watches you will know that lizard leather straps were quite a thing back in the days. These exotic and beautiful leather hide will instantly elevate the look of your watch and our artisans have taken the extra care to fully saddle stitch by hand each strap for added longevity. The patterns on the lizard leather hide are more consistent than alligator leather, straps of smaller width will still showcase the fully glory of the patterned hide due to its smaller scales.
We have opted to go full vintage on this exquisite strap by manufacturing our unique oval buckle which allows for the fitment of only one floating keeper on the short end of the strap. The design of the oval buckle serves to replace the fixed sewn in buckle found in traditional straps and we have taken an extra step to craft a thicker floating keeper to balance out the strap aesthetically.
The inner lining is made from smooth black Zermatt leather from Tanneries HAAS in France, the same type of lining commonly found in Hermès bags.
